1.5 GHz Dual core HTC smartphone wow!

After a long time of building up hype and crazy rumors all over the interent, HTC has finally annouced the Sensation XE.  

• 1.5 GHz processor
• 4.3 inch touch screen (540×960 resolution)
• 1730mAh battery for extra long run times
• Beats headphones
• 8Gb or 16GB microSD card
• remote control for music

The Sensation is expected to launch in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle east this month.  Details for a North American launch have yet to show up.

So now we might get 20MP cams?

But what's the use ? 5 megapixels give 28x36 cms printing size. 8

gives a whole lot more. 20MP would give you what, a wallpaper ?

Anyway, it seems there are people around who think of it as a good
enough investment and so Texas Instruments have announced their latest
OMAP DM5x series coprocessors that aim at providing processing
performance to crunch enough numbers to give you 20 megapixels worth
of images or 720p camcorder functionality.

It comes with all the necessary software drivers as well to allow
manufacturers to implement them quickly on camera phones.
