GPSed: Mapping your impressions




GPSed is a location-based service for trip tracking from mobile. In real time tracks are traced on Google maps and stored in an online archive. With a simple geotagging feature it is possible to pin photos to a map precisely at a place they were taken.

Leaked pictures of sony ericsson P5 (Paris)

To be honest, in the beginning I had some doubts about its reality. I thought that it was yet another fake (There were too many P5 fakes :) ) But more and more pictures of "Paris" are coming from various sources, so I guess I was wrong.







This smartphone from Sony Ericsson - Sony Ericsson P5 runs recently announced Symbian UIQ 3.3.The form-factor of this device is "Slider" and it's made from metal and mirror-like front panel. Handset is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard and features W-LAN 802.11b/g, built-in GPS (With preinstalled Google Maps) and 5MP digital camera with auto focus.Phone also supports 3G networks, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 cable connectivity...its obviously touchscreen.

Sony Xperia X1

This is purely Sony Ericsson's with the three-inch VGA touch screen,curved slider design,and speedy network access, the Xperia X1 is 1 among the hottest windows mobile smartphone available around with the "arc-slider"which slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keypad which can navigate in all four directions which is pretty new to the present market. Xperia represents Sony Ericsson's first crack at a windows mobile phone(all Sony Ericsson smartphones are being powered by Symbian O.S). It's a quad brand GSM phone,and it supports 3.5G for speedy web surfing,video streaming and file uploading.Wi-Fi being on board,as well as a 3.2 mega pixel camera and a GPS( or GPS assisted by cell-tower triangulation). The centre piece of the X1 is its three-inch WVGA screen 800 by 480 pixels which compared 2 apple iPhone 3.5 inch screen. The touch sensitive screen features of Xperia "panels"that will give you quick access to websites, music, events and the like; running underneath will be windows mobile 6. And doesn't consist of a stylus function. The keypad consist of "talk"&"end" buttons, a pair of soft keys, and a windows button 4 calling the start menu.
