Macbook Pro OLED rumor

There seems to be a rumor afloat about OLED on the next-gen Macbook Pro. The present Macbooks and Macbook Pros have a plastic 'window' which feeds of the light emitted from the LED display. If the new OLED logo rumor turns out to be true that would open channels to customise that logo and make it show anything you want it to. Now that's got to be a pretty impressive hack. Let's wait and hope for the best!

Fruit Fight: Apple vs the Mango

Forum Logo
iPhone vs. WP7 Mango: Lock Screen, UI Design, Multitasking, App Stores, Music Player, and Browser
Pocketnow has posted a comparison between Windows Phone Mango and Apple’s iOS.They have used  Apple’s iOS 4 on a 4th generation iPod Touch rather than the iOS 5 beta since the latter seemed to be too buggy for now. So take a look at some of the major differences and similarities between two tasty fruits, Windows Phone Mango and Apple’s iOS. Seems Microsoft is so into mirroring Apple's efforts that they've even mirrored the fruit. Check out the video below.

Mac OS X Lion Launched!

The long awaited Unix based OS by the fruit company named Apple has been released yesterday. An update to the previous Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8, the newer system is said to be more smoother with a better fluidic user interface. Multi-touch support has also been revamped.

Supposedly Apples new data centers aren't perfectly coping up with the onslaught of 4GB downloads. Lots of users are complaining about slow downloads and in some cases stuck downloads. Hope this is not an omen for Apples iCloud.

Motorola Droid 3

The dudes at PhoneArena have set up a pretty nice unboxing & hands-on video of the Motorola DROID 3. Now this Motorola DROID 3 is obviously the successor of the Motorola DROID 2.

This handheld device comes with a 4” qHD display and claims to have a 30% faster graphics chip than its predecessor. It also sports a larger 5-row keyboard. Moreover, the new handset brags of 30% faster multitasking performance over the DROID 2 Global thanks to its 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor. The DROID 3 is also the first phone on Verizon capable of recording 1080p full HD videos with its 8-megapixel rear camera.

Nyko Xbox 360 Kinect Zoom Lens Kit

Nyko Zoom Xbox 360 Kinect Lens Kit
Have an XBox but also have a small room? Other than joining hands with your mom to whine for a bigger home you have got one high tech option.

This gadget featured here will allow you to decrease the space needed to play your favorite Kinect games with Nyko’s Zoom for Kinect. The Zoom reduces the play range required to enjoy Kinect software by up to 40%, allowing you to play closer to your TV. The wide angle lens also allows two people to play in an area normally only suitable for a single player making it ideal for those in smaller apartments or dorm rooms. I'm gonna try this out in my hostel room for sure!

Mobee Magic Charger

MobileFun has just directed my attention to this Mobee Magic Charger for the Apple Magic Mouse. Back when the magic mouse came out hordes of people went mad about it, so this Mobee Magic Charger is a great accessory as not only does it help to save the battery life of the Apple magic mouse, but it also looks stylish and doesn't need an external power supply.  Once you place your mouse on the Mobee charger it automatically starts to charge it, meaning you'll never run out of power so it's great for those who constantly use their Macs. Perfect add-on for your MacBook Pro.

Kindle Light: Tuff-Luv

This particular Kindle cover comes with a powerful reading light, which allows you to use your Kindle in the dark. IMHO, Amazon should have had it built in. This is the 21st century and they release screens without backlight?! The light included is LED, which provides impressive battery life and provides up to 72 hours of light with the included batteries.

Galaxy S2 Stand: Seidio Innodock

The Seidio Innodock for my Samsung Galaxy S2 allows me to view it at a comfortable angle. The advantage is that it allows you to use it with your device with or without a case attached so you don't need to remove your case from your Galaxy S2 everytime you want to dock it - Nice eh? Its also designed to work even if you have an extended battery and back cover attached to your device. So you can easily sync and charge your Galaxy S2 whilst its in the dock, without having to remove any items from your phone. Ease of use.

Unlike other stands that require separate inputs to enable sync and charging, the Seidio Innodock lets you do both with the same cable. This reduces desktop clutter resulting in a cleaner, more efficient work space. Nice.

Great news all you Nintendo gamers out there - you've got the chance to extend your playing time with this cool new gizmo. Gaming Zap wants to let you know about the Nyko Nintendo battery charge base for the 3DS - they're still the only retailer in the UK to stock the battery base and by using the base you give your 3DS double the battery life - that's pretty impressive.  What you might especially like about the charging base is that is looks and feels good, so you could also use it as a dock/display for my 3DS.

The home screen of this HTC Evo 3D offers consumers exceptional high quality when it comes to viewing web pages. So much so that you’ll wonder how you used your old phone in the first place! Such is the magic of 3Dimensional viewing!
The HTC Evo 3D enables you to switch between taking images in 3D or 2D. The images taken in 3D offer a truly stunning new perceptive to your images. Alternatively, you can continue to take images in 2D if needed.
It’s not only images which are given the 3D treatment from the HTC Evo 3D mobile phone. Consumers can shoot videos in 3D too! And you can play games in 3D too. LG Opimus 3D

Here is one of the world's first smartphone with which you can watch 3D images glasses-free! That's right, you can vies 3D without using anaglyph glasses or nVidia Shutter glasses. The LG Optimus 3D promises to change the way you interact with a phone. Press the Optimus 3D's dedicated button and you're enjoying a beautiful 3D display, press again and you're back to 2D - not that you might do it.

The Optimus 3D uses clever technology called the parallax barrier to create the 3D effect by showing your left eye and right eye slightly different images, and 3D display's effect in games, film, and even navigation screens is fantastically convincing. You must've lernt about the parallax error back in high school physics.

Aside from the 3D content, the Optimus 3D is a high-performing smartphone with smooth navigation and no lag. It offers superb performance when web surfing, running apps or enjoying multimedia content thanks to the cutting-edge dual-core processor. The Optimus 3D sports LG's biggest screen, a 4.3 inch WVA resolution touchscreen.

There are two 5 megapixel cameras on the back. That's right two! They let you instantly capture stunning 3D photos or video. The cameras record in HD quality at 1080p in 2D or 720p in 3D. There's also multiple connectivity options such as an HDMI output and DLNA, so you can watch your images on your 3D TV!
